Η στρατηγική της «ενεργητικής αντίστασης» υπαγορεύει ότι όποτε το Ιράν αντιλαμβάνεται μια εχθρική ή απειλητική κίνηση προς τα συμφέροντά του, πρέπει να αντιδρά με προσεκτικά υπολογισμένα αλλά συνάμα δυναμικά αντίμετρα που αυξάνουν κατά πολύ το κόστος στο άλλο μέρος, προκειμένου να το εξαναγκάσει σε υπαναχώρηση από την αρχική του ενέργεια ή σε παραχώρηση άλλου είδους ανταλλαγμάτων.
Ο ΑΛΕΞΗΣ ΛΕΚΑΚΗΣ ΚΕΡΚΥΡΑΙΟΣ είναι υποψήφιος διδάκτωρ ιρανικής εξωτερικής πολιτικής στο τμήμα Διεθνών, Ευρωπαϊκών και Περιφερειακών Σπουδών του Παντείου Πανεπιστημίου και υπότροφος του Ιδρύματος Κρατικών Υποτροφιών (ΙΚΥ). Στο πλαίσιο της υπό εκπόνηση διατριβής του, έχει πραγματοποιήσει επιτόπια έρευνα στην Τεχεράνη.
